| The Man & His Failures were formed in 2018 and consist of Manos Karakatsanis, Alekos Sorros and Dimitris Vlasopoulos. Their music moves across a broad spectrum of electronic sound, primarily within Industrial and EBM, with strong Darkwave and Goth influences and aesthetics. From 2018 to 2024 they released a series of EPs and singles such as “Chapter One: MMXX & More” on vinyl and CD, “MMXX EP” on cassette, “Devastations / R.Daneel” as a split 7-inch with Incirrina, “Subjects / Driven Like The Snow” on 7-inch, along with other digital releases, all under the umbrella of the independent label Smash Records based in Thessaloniki. Their live presence has been notably active, including important performances alongside Front 242, Fontaines D.C., Alexander Hacke, Minuit Machine, Haujobb, Suicide Commando, Diorama, Ultra Sunn, This Eternal Decay, as well as Greek artists such as Dramachine, Incirrina and Mechanimal. "Survival Kit", after years of work and many setbacks, marks their first full length album. It features eight tracks and is a concept record that captures an urban, social and political dystopia, much like the one we live in, through the perspective of the people behind the band. It was released digitally through various platforms on December 26, 2025, followed in May 2026 by a limited physical vinyl edition of 300 hand-numbered copies in two colours by Geheimnis Music Productions and a digipak CD. Production was handled by Alekos Sorros, with mixing and mastering completed at Top Floor Studio by Panos Tsekouras. |
